I have a handful of over-achieving mom friends that always make me feel a few steps behind. So with the start of 2010, I'm going to step it up a notch. Creating new traditions, making fun memories with the kids, the whole nine yards. I got this idea from one of my photography books...a picture of each child every year, with a little snippet of things they loved at that time. Fun, right?
The other day, Drew tells me he is going to get married when he's 20, at which time we have to start calling him "Harrison." He said at age 23, he will become a chef for DaVinci's. There are so many things wrong with those statements...where to begin. Married at 20? Ummmmm, no. And a "chef" for DaVinci's? That's a bit of a stretch. DaVinci's is barely a step above fast food. But I digress.
Here is the "take 1" of the protoype:
YES, the type is too small for you to read. (I don't know how to re-size pictures for the web, so I fiddled with the resolution, and messed the whole thing up). The black border is not part of the final product either. I want to change the white side to something with a little more pizazz...but so far, I haven't been able to get it quite right. I'll post the final product when it is done! Let the memory-making begin!
