Yep, that's when the Bonnie family finally celebrated Easter. We have been so unbelievably busy lately, that we've had to put off our celebration. Each year the kids hunt for eggs which contain candy, money and little clues that lead to a scavenger hunt. There are presents hidden all around the house, and the clues that they find in the eggs lead them to their Easter gifts.
Here are the boys, waiting for Livia to make her grand entrance into the backyard. Wardrobe issues.
And they're off!
Senor Competition had his basket nearly full in approximately 30 seconds.
Drew kept calling out "it's not a race, Collin!"
Livia didn't give two hoots about the Easter egg hunt, but thought chewing on the soccer cones would be splendid.
Here's Collin reading the first clue.
Ah yes, money scattered all around our yard. Good thing we decided to go with 1 dollar bills instead of $20's. ;-)
There was a tiny egg-napper.
No one minded.
Flying through the air with daddy is much more fun anyway.
Always there to warm my heart, here is Collin happy to trade an egg with Drew. This happened more than once tonight. Whatever Drew asked for, Collin gladly gave him.
Drew is waiting patiently for Collin to help him open an egg.
What's this??!! All three kids in the same picture? Wow. I won't even complain that Collin is making a funny face.
Because it doesn't last long.
Happy belated Easter! :-)
