Monday after school, I picked up child #1 and took the gang over to a new spot that I had been wanting to try out.
This was kind of a trial run. I didn't have any expectations; just wanted to play around. I love this shot of Collin. I wish I could have captured his beautiful blue eyes, but it was too bright out. He's my squinter. Child #2 could be standing on the sun and not squint.
Speaking of child #2...
I wanted to play around with some different angles using this bench, but Drew was not down for playing with angles. Look at the shallow depth of field on the bench at the bottom right. It looks like it's jumping off the picture, doesn't it?
I was about ready to toss this black and white version of the previous picture, when Doron walked by and said he loved it. Doron was born in Israel, and he said it reminded him of himself as a child.
Can you guess which of my children has more personality than he knows what to do with?
Just as I was (again) trying to get some different angles with this bench...
...guess who happened by.
And with that, he whisked his big brother away, sat him down on the steps, licked his finger, and stuck it in his ear.
I guess that means the photo shoot is over.
Oh, and where is child #3 you ask? If you listen carefully, you can hear her in the van screaming.

Only a Mother could have written these wonderful words of endearment!
GREAT SPOT FOR PICTURES!!!!
love the park bench one!!! great shots
Love the second one of Drew!! The bench is so cool.
Most of my kids are squinters. Sigh. Makes it hard to get outdoor pics. I think it must have something to do with blue eyes. ;)
