Hi guys! I'm doing a guest post over at my3boybarians today. :-) I'd love for you to stop by and say hi! Darcy wanted me to show how I do my black and white conversions and make them "pop."
On her blog today, I will use this picture of Drew...
...and show you how to go from the left picture (BLAH!) to the right picture (BETTER!)
Head on over to Darcy's for my full tutorial. Have a great Thursday! :-)
hey great post - I have a question - without using the action do you convert your photo to b&W then adjust the contrast levels curves etc? what is work flow from the beginning. Thanks - I've been using Scott Kelby's method for conversion but would like to know how you do it
Thank You so Much for responding! Yes, I am a fellow Nebraskan! We can always pick out those Cornhusker items, can't we? ;o) I was pretty sure that you had to be in Eastern Nebraska judging by the shots you have with leaves in them! I'm in North Platte, and we just don't have trees or leaves in that quantity around here! I have recently discovered photography as well, I'm no where nearly as talented as you that is for sure! Please keep in touch and I will definitely be following your blog as well as your 365 Project!

I can't get the free action to work. I know how to load actions too. I have plenty of RAM, etc. But it won't work. Any suggestions?
Thanks again for the awesome tutorial!
Blessings,
Jill
