10 on tuesday

1. Every morning on our way to school as we round a particular corner, wailing from the backseat ensues: "Sun! Eyes! SUN BE EYES!!" This is followed by the frantic unbuckling of seatbelts to help their baby sister stop the shrieking. And so help the person that does not contort their body every which way to block the sun.

Two hours later and I have the perfect solution.

2. I like how my 9 year old calls his sister little kitten.

3. I dislike how he calls his brother Pampers.

4. Livia eats toast with a fork.

Wait... what?

You don't?

In unrelated news, my baby has seemingly inherited my super gigantically large clown feet, so we might be on our last round of footie pajamas. {sniff}

You're wondering how many pictures I can post of my baby eating toast, aren't you?

We waited two years for this precious baby. I could watch her eat toast all day.

5. Most embarassing moment of the week: I took the boys to Lost in Fun, a local indoor playground. I look around to see a row of moms, all reading books. Super. I brought a book too. I pull up a bench near the other moms and crack open my book. As I lay my "bookmark" on the bench beside me, I am horrified to see it is actually one white square of .... how shall I say.... toliet tissue. Yeah, it's pretty hard to recover from that one.

6. Major bummer when your husband forgets to drain the underground sprinkler system for the winter. Fact: undrained pipes do indeed freeze and burst.

7. I feel grumpy when my yard looks like this:

8. How weird is it that I'm allergic to avocados? My lips swell up to a cosmetic procedure-like size. If you ask me if I find the look flattering, I will neither confirm nor deny. (OK fine, I confirm).

9. My kitchen: 9:00am
(Good heavens, no, we did not pick out that light fixture).

My kitchen: 3:00pm

10. From the other room I hear the following:
Livia: "Wheeeee!"
(Drew and Livia giggling)
Livia: "Wheeeee!"
(Drew and Livia giggling)
Livia: "WHEEEEEE!"
Drew (whispering): "Sorry I forgot to catch you Livia."

So now you're caught up on current events at our house for the week. What's new at your house?

Have a great Tuesday! :-)

Oh, I laughed almost the whole way through! I can't get over how adorable Livia is... Your table at 3:00 looks like our Family Room 5 minutes after being cleaned... lol

#5 - Doesn't everyone use "toilet tissue" as a bookmark? XD That's the handiest thing around!

I love looking at pictures of your baby eating toast. :) I really love her jammies, too. My baby girl did NOT inherit my super-huge clown feet... she's still a size 4. O.o

#8 - That sucks! I love avocado!

#10 - Jumping from the couch, perhaps? ;) Hannah has learned to do that.

Gosh that is horrible to hear you are allergic to one of the healthiest foods - not to mention most delicious and oh so pretty colored!

I could look at your photos of Livia eating toast all day too - well that is after I got done looking at photos of our tiny tot who is all too cute at this moment too!

Your photos are beautiful as always!
Big hugs and blessings for your week!

I'm allergic to avocados too!! Your kids are absolutely hysterical - I love that Livia eats toast with a fork, and that her older brother calls her little kitten. And I definitely chuckled at Pampers - not nice, but a very little bit funny.

Karli - I left this not on Ashley's blog, too.

I don't do photo shop work so I don't know if this is a good program or not. You can check it out and let your readers know. I guess photoshop (normally $129.99) is on sale today on amazon for $25.00. Here is a blog link about it: http://www.luvabargain.com/2010/12/amazon-photoshop-for-only-2-00-reg-129-99-today-127/

Are you saying that t-paper bookmarks aren't fashionable?! *

*It's like we're the same person! ;)

Please tell me you didn't lie on the ground for the frost shot. Now I have to go find a sweater.

Hahaha #10 had me dying laughing. What kind of high chair do you use? It is so cute, I want one.

LOL This is seriously my favorite day of the week. If only I could be at home reading this post instead of in the airport. It's cold.

I'm so sad b/c my 2.5 year old now refuses footsie PJ's. He had a major, and I mean major, tantrum when I tried to put him in this cute snowman pair the other night. So so sad.

Love your post! Have a great week!

hello, I'm a new follower here. I found you through Ashley's blog. I also have a 1.5 year old and she screams like crazy whenever the sun hits her eyes. She will make life very miserable for everyone in the car. Good thing your daughter will wear sunglasses but mine refuses it so we have to live through the screaming the whole ride. I love your photography and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.
