project 365: days 42-47

I think I'm having some mathematical issues, because I don't think today is day 47. Hmmmm. I got off on my numbering last week, so I'm just going to post what I have. M'kay?

day 42: it arrived!

Photobucket

I'll spare you the long, boring story of my macro lens; basically I returned mine and got a new one. I thought it had issues, but it turned out that I have issues. Oops. The picture above is a shot of my new lens, but instead of focusing on the lens, I focused on what the lens was "looking" at. Cool, or just plain weird?

day 43: testing 1, 2

Photobucket

Here I'm playing around with the macro lens. I wasn't going for anything in particular here...just standing at the sink fixing lunch.

day 44: a gift from Israel

Photobucket

A couple weeks ago, Doron's uncle came to visit from Israel. It was wonderful to see him! He brought this bracelet; a gift from my mother in law.

day 45: valentine's day

Photobucket

day 46: powerlines

Photobucket

You know me...I love a good powerline shot. I wish the clouds would have been more interesting, but I'm trying to be more consistent with my 365 pics, so I had to have something. ;-)

day 47: non verbal communication

Photobucket

This is the reaction I got from TT when she saw me bringing the camera to the car. I think the message is pretty clear.

Is everyone having a great week? I hope so! Happy Tuesday! ♥♥

That is so amazing. I plan on getting a good macro lens later this year after I get my new camera and 85mm first. I love the clearness, detail, and close ups of all these shots. You did so well I'm definitely impressed but I'm always impressed so it's nothing new!

Great shots! How exactly did you take that water shot?

Jaime said...

All great! Beautiful bracelet too. Do you happen to have the specs on your water macro shot? I can't seem to get the ones I take right....maybe because I am suing extension tubes w/ my 70-300 instead of macro lens?

^that should be 'using'^

which macro lens are you using? I love the hearts shot and the water shot!! My little one is bound to cover her eyes as soon as she figures out how to do that. She is going to be so sick of my camera before she turns two!! ;0

Love the first two photos!!! The water photo looks like something out of an advertisement in a magazine for a water faucet. Well done!! Can't wait to see what else you capture with your new macro lens.
Have a good one!!

that first shot is TOTALLY COOL! Love it.

I love that water drop shot too - such great color! This post has a lot of fabulous photos. Good work this week!

When I was doing 365 last year, I had a TERRIBLE time figuring out my day numbers. LOL. I think I finally found a website that tells what day of the year it is.

The water shot is AWESOME! And love the candy hearts. I didn't get any of those this year even though I really wanted too... oh well.

The first shot is so creative!! And the water picture is amazing!! The bracelet is gorgeous, love love love. And my tt simply turns his back on me every time I bring out the camera. But if we were in the car, he'd probably cover his eyes too!

isn`t that they way it is with lens`s sometimes you think something must be wrong with it when something is actually wrong with us..... many aday i think my camera must be broken because most of my shots are not that good, but then i remember.. I am new at this and it takes time and practice and knowlege which i am learning all so slowly. But fun though. TT, is too cute, saying not again..

love these shots have fun with your lens.

Just started following, thanks to Jen B and Courtney! I love your blog. Did you use a flash with the water shot? Or is there a tutorial in store for that one? Pretty please!

Made my way over via Courtney's place ~ fabulous seltzer and orange shot. One day when I have some time I will play around with a shot similiar to it. Thanks for the set up tips.

I took a look around while here and enjoyed my stay. Great photographs ~ I'll be sure to be back.

WOW! I'm SO behind on commenting on your posts! I'm catching up though! So first of all, that macro of the water..BLEW ME AWAY!! Love it. Secondly...my son reacts the same way as TT in that last shot to my camera! I am so ready to upgrade to Canon and want the 100mm macro IMMEDIATELY..or ASAP. Which macro lens are you using there? Oh and lastly (promise) I have my sony A230 up for sale with all kinds of extra goodies if you know anyone lookin for a great DSLR! (hehe) <3
