party of three: 46/52 (the vision/the reality)

For this edition of party of three, I thought it would be fun to play a little game called The Vision/The Reality so you could witness a little behind-the-scenes action during a typical Bonnie 5 photo shoot. Fun, right? :-)

First up, the vision:

The reality.

The vision:

The reality. (distraction by squirrel)

The reality: (brothers are yummy)

Is it just me, or is the reality more interesting than the vision? ;-) A few more pictures from our evening, in no particular order:

Yes, you've already seen this one. I love it that much.

I had so many more pictures to share, but the fact is I've got a ton going on this week and my computer is crashing. Like really crashing. My screen has gone completely black several times today. (eek)

Also, can I just tell you...the comments you guys left yesterday on my inspire me post truly warmed my heart! Thank you to every single person that took the time to encourage me, and I will be around soon to visit you too! ♥ I'm a little slow because of my computer that doesn't want to cooperate and keeps locking up, but thank you so VERY much! If you haven't had a chance to read yesterday's post, be sure to click over because in it I shared the style of photography that truly inspires me (and it might not be what you think!) Thanks for looking! :-)

Your vision is beautiful, but your reality is real and wonderful!

You've backed up all of your files, right? I'd hate for you to lose everything!

The reality is awesome...I live for those moments. Don't get me wrong...I love the vision too but kids would be no fun if there wasn't a reality.

Success = capturing the vision and the reality. Then you got it all, right? Sweet and funny pics!

Love this idea! If I did a post like this it would be all reality... reality... reality... At least you got your vision shots! Way to go!

So many great ones in this post - really love the last one and the headless ones. It's my thing now... something about headless ones that let me fill in the blank... weird...

Wonderful pictures! The reality really is better then the vision sometimes, isn't it?

I so appreciate the "Outtakes", they are truly real life and so indicative of your kids personalities. I bet you treasure those much more than the perfect the vision.

ha! what a funny post! But you know sometimes reality IS better than the vision, because you get really natural shots that show personality--like the "distraction by squirrel" shot--what a great expression! Though I think the third "vision" shot is my favorite, of your son leaning over the railing. Its such a natural expression.

LOL, I love all of them. It takes me so many takes to get my kids to cooperate so I can get the pictures I envisioned but the reality ones always crack me up and really seem to show off their real personalities. Happy Hump day, I hope you get your computer issues worked out!

I love the vision and the reality - and those reality shots - you will treasure those in years to come!! I mean it!

My fav - you know which one it is! The last one, the love shared between those two is WONDERFUL and it shows in that shot!!!

Love them my friend!

hehe... I'm loving the reality shots -- and the visions. I love how you captured them, but also captured THEM! (hehe I know what I mean... hopefully you get it too!)

I looked back though your posts so I could pintrest something from last Christmas (hehe, yes, I did!) and gasp, I was shocked that our TT has GROWN! hehe! And your two boys, but TT is definitely NOT a baby anymore!

Love these guys, love you, lovin' your heart!

Whether these shots were your vision or reality, I think they are absolutely fabulous! I love everything about them Karli.....

The kids are so beautiful and they are really growing up. TT has lost that "baby" look all of a sudden. I know that is such a bittersweet feeling. I am clinging onto Reagan's "baby chub" for dear life.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your holiday!

xoxo,
