Well dear one, while I was ecstatic to find such an exuberant comment from you on my blog this past week, my jaw dropped when I read about how you've been feeling about your work. How could this be??? However, I digress, as I think we all go through those periods of "doubt" about our own talents when we spend time out-and-about admiring others.

Karli, I am truly impressed and in awe of your photography skills. Not trying to score brownie points or anything like that, I really, REALLY love your work and your style :) So much so that I had immediately placed your banner beneath Rita's and I added you to the blogs I like to follow so that I would have a much better chance of catching your posts when checking in on my blog! I find you VERY inspiring and a help in keeping my dream of a DSLR right in front of me!

This last shoot of Livia is beyond words for me. Firstly, she is a beautiful subject for the lens, but your expertise in lighting and capturing the essence of the moment is mind boggling for this wannabe! Your use of bokeh is so captivating and when I can feel my heart skip a beat of I break into a sigh, well, I just KNOW I've been WOW-ed :D

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I look forward to catching more photos as Christmas approaches :)

Hugs,
Linda

P.S. You've given me a wonderful project to start working on for my almost 17-month-old granddaughter - a closet full of pure imagination. Thank you!

So darn cute! I bet it's so much fun to play with her hair. That's what I'm missing with my life with two boys.

Stunning. The last one is so sweet and I adore the one of her at the top of the stairs.

Two things here. Gorgeous light in these images. Love the black and white ones too, and secondly, your little girl has the best hair. What a sweetie!

I know you probably don't want to hear it but, your little baby is looking so grown up in these pictures! Seriously, how do our kids grow up so fast huh? My baby doesn't seem so little to me these days either and it makes my heart ache. These pictures are GORGEOUS. Love her long hair. Such a beautiful girl! Merry Christmas to you friend!

These are over the top gorgeous Karli! The b/w with her back to the camera has that 'Classic Karli B/W Action' that you need to box up and offer to all the people. Make it a LR preset first and I'll beta-test it for you. Yeah. Do that!
