Of course it broke my heart to see her in pain, but I was secretly hoping for oodles of cuddle time! WRONG. Two hours after the fall, she was up and running around the doctor's office like a banchee, and that was BEFORE the cast went on. She wasn't the least bit concerned about the X-rays or the cast going on... she was so excited to pick out the color! The only bummer was having to pull her out of swimming lessons since she'll have to wear the cast for a month. I'm just glad it wasn't anything more serious. A fractured wrist we can handle!
All I had to share was an iPhone shot. I hope to get some more photos with the real camera to document her little mishap.
I really REALLY appreciate all the kind words on Facebook!! I read them all to Livia and they just thrilled her! :-) Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. xoxo

My oldest has had two casts... one this summer after breaking his wrist when he got tripped. Luckily it was waterproof!
Oh no! Obviously its not gonna slow her down one bit though!
Bummer about the broken wrist. Bummer about swim lessons. Good news is her resiliency. And she looks pretty cute in a pink cast.
poor thing :( I have a feeling Max will be the one to break a bone! that pink cast is pretty darn cute though! :)
Oh no your sweet little girl. Big hug for both of you.
Broken wrist and all she is still super cute.
And I never would have guessed this was an iPhone image!
I am just reading this and so sorry to hear about TT's accident. I hope she is feeling better and that this is just a small blip in her year.
Oh no!! Poor little Livia!! AWWW! We have not had any broken bones here YET. I stress yet. I know Julianna will do it, it's just a matter of time - she's a crazy child who leaps before she thinks! I hope for a fast recovery for your Tiny TOrnado! :)
Poor little Livia! And poor mama! I bet you were frazzled over this! I know I would have been. Cute color cast though! :)
Mama Hen
oh my goodness too funny that she was so eager to pick her color...reminds me of myself as a kid. I wanted to break my arm so I could get a colored cast for people to sign. lol. It was a rather cool thing to have in elementary school. haha. I would have been a wreck if my kiddo broke her arm. Sounds like you handled it like a champ!! Hope it heals up tip top shape and boy she is cute!
