Safta in Hebrew means grandmother.
Doron was born in Israel, and his mother still lives there today.
Safta loves our children wholeheartedly. I can never send enough pictures. She is one of my most faithful blog readers. She truly, honestly cares with every ounce of her being. Our children mean the world to her, and for that, I love her.
My boys look so forward to her yearly visits.
Livia will meet her for the first time this summer.
They are so excited.
This morning at breakfast we were talking about Safta. During her last visit, she bought the boys a globe so they could see how far Israel is from Nebraska. The boys couldn't remember exactly where Israel was, so we got out the globe.
Here we are in Canada.
Drew found Australia. That's his favorite "state."
Still looking for Israel.
Ah ha! A discovery!
Oops. Canada again.
Collin found it!
Drew wanted a closer look too.
My boys discussing the world.
We love you Safta!
