get to know me, part 2

I got such sweet comments on my first post: 'get to know me,' that I thought I'd put on my egomaniac cape, and go for round two. Just know that I enjoy reading tidbits about you, so you must feel the same way, right? Right?

1. My real life friends and family know I have phone-phobia. Write me an email, send me a text, or visit me in person; I hate the phone.

2. When I'm out running errands, I call my answering machine at home to leave messages for myself so I don't forget stuff. My Blackberry has a voice notes recorder, but I'm not smart enough to retrieve the notes, rendering it fairly useless.

3. I hate, HATE chocolate ice cream.

4. If you have food in your teeth, I will not tell you. Not because I'm mean; I just don't want to make you feel uncomfortable.

5. My husband knows I will be furious if he brings home flowers for me. Hello! Flowers die. Give me a $20 gift card.

6. Worst food ever: mushrooms. Is it even a food? I know it's a fungus, but is it a food, a topping, a condiment...what is it???!!

8. I always write thank you notes.

9. I love Pottery Barn.

10. I'm not a Type A personality. I'm the other one. Type B?...Z? I have no idea, but I'm not Type A.

12. I've been in 6 car accidents, and none were my fault.

13. I will go on the biggest, fastest roller coaster in the park, but I'm terrified of the ferris wheel.

14. I use too many exclamation marks. You might or might not notice this, since I go back and delete half of them after I've written something.

15. I usually get to bed before my husband to relax and watch T.V. He is usually still downstairs when it's time for my evening snack. :-) I call him on his cell phone and he always answers "Doron's Kitchen." Isn't he sweet? Nope, you can't have him.

16. Remember the year the presidential election got messed up? You remember...the 'hanging chad' fiasco? Yep, Ft. Lauderdale (Broward County) was my hometown at that time. Sorry about that.

And because my blog posts are boring without pictures, here ya go!

Love reading these tidbits!! Thank you for sharing! I don't like mushrooms either. Oh and I think I've been in at least 6 car accidents. Ha ha.

I enjoyed reading your list! Although I am very Type A, we have soooo much in common. I love Pottery Barn, I always write thank you notes and I leave myself voice mail messages non-stop! It's so fun to get to know you more!

TWIN! I have phone phobia too...my dearest friends know this but I have one friend that still hasn't caught on. If she would just email me, we could set up a date, but she likes to leave these long messages and if I do call back, she wants to talk for like 30-45 minutes. I just dont' have that much to say. And yeah, I'm not Type A either but I work amongst a ton of Type A's so I always become support.

You and I are a lot alike Karli! I use exclamations so much without even realizing it sometimes. I just did it! Like I said before, I can jump out of an airplane, but I have never liked the ferris wheel. Pottery Barn is great and I write thank yous also. I think it is a lost art. Have a great day!

I have the telephone as well. When I was much younger I used to write out a 'script' of what I was going to say so I didn't get paralysed with fear. I'm better now, but I still hate the phone.

Fun list and nice symbolic picture. ;-)
I am not a fan of the phone either. Love my email.
Always deleting exclamation points. (I am trying not to use any here. lol)
I would much rather have money than flowers.
As for the ice cream - it has got to have chocolate in it!! (I'm sorry, but that deserved some exclamation points)

Great! Now I know so much more. We have a few things in common...
1. Hate chocolate ice cream (but I also despise chocolate cake and ice cream too).

2. I also despise phone calls (sometimes). Prefer face-to-face, text or email (so now you know how to reach me).

Have a great day!

Exclamation points are essential! Absolutely essential, let me tell you! :)

I`m the same as you on most of the items on your list, but I have to say that I LOVE mushrooms --all kinds!

Oh, can I tell you again that I love ALL your photographs? I`ll definitely be stopping by again and slowly work my way back to older posts and photos. :)

Well, this was fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We'd do well at an amusement park together. I *love* roller coasters and *HATE* ferris wheels. We could let our hubbies take the kids and we could stand and take pics! And I'm extremely jealous that not only do you have a late night snack "chef", but the fact that you can *have* a late night snack and still have your amazing skinny-ness! ;)

That's pretty interesting! I'm with you on two things: phone phobia and mushroom-hater! And here I thought that I was the ONLY one! LOL! :D

Seriously - you are a NUT!
I am with you on most of these. My hubby isn't allowed to bring home flowers either because 1. they ARE a waste of $$$ and 2. My blasted cat EATS them! Oh, and don't get me started on the !!!!!!!! I should really go back and delete too. Hmmmmm.
