the scoop on touch-up Tuesday

OK guys, here's the deal: this school year has gone off and left me behind. My oldest is in football, the next one is in soccer, both boys are in karate (yeah, I know...but they begged me), church 2 times a week...the list goes on. And moms of elementary school students: when they have homework...you have homework. Nuff said. Oh, and you've heard of the Tiny Tornado, haven't you? That's a full time job right there.

So here's the scoop. I'm going to start doing the touch-up Tuesday blog hop only on the first Tuesday of each month. How does that sound? I want you to know how much I really, truly LOVE seeing your edits every week. I've gotten many fantastic ideas from you guys, and I really hope you'll continue to join in. Please continue to "play"... 'K?

I'll do a reminder post on the Friday that comes right before the touch-up Tuesday date. I'll post only my edit, and remind you to come back the following Tuesday to see my SOOC. A real cliffhanger, I know. ;-)

I'll also have the upcoming date posted above my touch-up Tuesday button at the bottom of my blog. It will be posted on my information page as well. Does that sound like a plan?

I feel like a bit of a failure having to cut back, but I know it's in the interest of family time. I don't want to lose your wonderful contributions, so I hope to see you on the first Tuesday of the month.

Have a great weekend!

I totally get it! And I only have one guy in school.... and only a few hours at that!

And not that I have ever played along... but I have wanted to! Once a month seems manageable. I will mark my calendar :D

I can totally manage once a month. I've actually been curious as to how you have the time to juggle it all. You are like wonderwoman!!! Did you used to watch that show??? It was one of my faves.

Do not feel like you've failed - it's the opposite in fact - I think that you've put your fam first and that's the most important.

I hope ya know that I was just teasing.. I am so far behind on my bible in 90 days that I should have started the bible in one year. LOL. I like your ideas of accountablity.. I wonder if I would get any stars on my chart.

I will be linking up on the 7th.. Still working on an Omaha Photo walk.. do ya think you come. Maybe in October

I think that's a great idea!! It will make me feel like less of a failure :-) I get so busy that I miss out on a lot of the challenges. I honestly don't know how you and all the other great bloggers out there keep up with it all.

You enjoy your family time, and I'll do the same, and we'll all meet here once a month to share!

I totally hear you about not having enough time, I feel the same exact way! Whenever you do it I'll participate.

Just found your page. Are all the edit changes part of photoshop or did you find them on the web. I am so dying to improve on my photos, but wasn't that thrilled with Photoshop. Then a friend told me that I needed a more expensive camera. Ugh. I just spent a $1000 dollars. When you have a moment. Would love your advise.
