I was hoping to get some cool shots of the Blue Angels (I keep typing Blue Angles - LOL!)...but it was not to be. I'm not sure airplanes are the most interesting genre for us gal pal bloggers, but it's all I have for today.
Edit: I didn't realize the Blue Angels were performing again on Sunday afternoon! So with Drew's permission I skipped his soccer game and went for round two. It was just me & TT, and we had a blast!
Before the show started...
And they're off!
Have a great week! ♥

I love them all! It's always impossible to pick a favorite photo in your posts! Cool explosion photo. :-D
P.S. What are you doing in your editing to get the effect that's in the Fedex shot?
Awesome, Karli! So bright and beautiful!
Great shots! We got to see the Blue Angels this past spring...so cool!
Terrific shots!
Wow! These are magnificent photos!
Ha! If I can post truck and tractor pull stuff (very boy-stuff) then you can post airplane shots! And I love yours!!! .... well, that explosion looked scary! ah!!
So glad that you got a 2nd chance to go see them! I bet that was a blast!!
xoxo
Me
Fabulous pictures girl!
But you must explain the one on fire... was that set up or something bad happen???
Wow! These are just fantastic. It looks like an air show is a lot of fun, especially for photography!
great job... is it airforce week in Nebraska?.. I love that.. we went to Offut every year we were there..
Great pictures! I think you did a great job of capturing the planes and the mood of the air show. Nicely done as usual.
Wow, these are awesome!! Looks like sooo much fun.
Great pictures! Since we live near the airport, we watched from our deck! It was sooo fun to watch!
Great shots, I really like the last one and the first one. I haven't been to an airshow in SO long. We wound up at the Free Fair last week, I thought I'd practice photographing smelly animals but that didn't happen.
That first shot is so perfect! I'm always afraid to shoot in full sun like that, but you really got great clarity and contrast. Makes me want to be brave too. ;)
Exciting day! That fire/explosion is really something!

Awesome job Karli! That last shot was worth going back for round two!
:-)
Hugs and love,
Jill
Karli !!! You got some awesome shots! As in 'enlarge-frame-place in boys' rooms' shots!!!
YKILYLAS !!!
*please explain the fireball & smoke shot.
how fun! I haven't been to an air show in years. I might have to look into going to one next year.
What!?! I love all the plane shots!!! You could make paint drying look interesting with your mad photo skills, Lady! ;D
Wow - these are really awesome! :D
Is it just me, or does the smoke cloud on the right upper corner of the fire shot look like a little dude from Space Invaders?? ;)
How much fun is this - Drew would totally melt in NC. 83 degrees would be a blessing. While on vacation, it was in the 60s...then we come back to 90 degree humid temps. So jealous of this experience and MISS YOU!
Wow Wow Wow Karli, these are GORGEOUS!!! Who would have thought airplane shots could be so GORGEOUS?! I loved the explosion shot, and the Nebraska umbrella shot, the boy on his father's shoulders . . . I love them all! I am so glad you and TT were able to return on Sunday for Round 2!
Gorgeous!!!!
xoxoxo

Okay, I have been meaning to visit your blog for ages... and now I am here, and are you a fellow HUSKER?! Hehe ;) Either way, nice to "meet" you finally!
So holy wowzers. We had the opportunity to see them perform (okay, idk if it was THEM..the blue 'angles'..;) but it was something similar) a few months ago but we didn't. But this sure made me feel like we did! Great shots!
